Lindsey Newton loves and appreciates handmade goods. So much so that she started Little Pink Dress in order to hand-make textile items that will make you swoon. “They are worth so much more to me than a store bought item, “ she says. “ A part of myself goes into everything I make.”
Inspired by new fabrics, Lindsey can usually be found rocking out to some rap (especially Eminem) while she sews. She loves the flexibility of working on what she chooses whenever she chooses and that her business has extended her network of friends.
We love that about our business, too. Friends rock.
Little Pink Dress Products
Lindsey started out 10 years ago making hair bows, but Little Pink Dress has evolved into oh, so much more. Aprons. Purses. Placemats. All the textile yumminess you can dream of.
Aprons are Lindsey’s favorite things to make, but her customers go crazy over her pillows made with old handkerchiefs. We love them, too. Unique and adorable, these pillows will add beauty to any home. Just don’t fight over them. Lindsey will always make more.
While she’s looking forward to meeting new people and finding new customers, she’s just as excited to find some new treasures for herself.
Don’t worry, Lindsey, there will be plenty of incredible art to choose from at Backroads Market on October 7.
See you there!
