Backroads Market is proud to be the very first market Richardson’s Relics has ever attended. Rachel and Darin Richardson make absolutely gorgeous and practical pieces that you won’t be able to pass by, so we’re fortunate that co-host Abby Taylor caught sight of one of their designs on Facebook and convinced them to give the Market a try.
The cool part about Richardson’s Relics is that Darin does the building and Rachel does the finishing. Doesn’t that sound like a heavenly way to have a fun and creative business? We should all do such cool stuff with our partners.

This couple loves finding new objects they can make into something else. Though they work separately (because of the whole building and finishing thing), the Richardsons get each other’s input on designs and bounce their ideas off each other, so the finished pieces have both of their hearts in them.
Rachel’s favorite pieces that will available at the Market are the stove boards, but keep your eyes open for the gorgeous bushel basket flowers and the refurbished furniture, too. This stuff knocks our socks off.
Rachel wanted us to let you know that they will be a cash only booth this time. They’re testing the waters here, folks, so we have to let them see that it’s warm and welcoming. Because we want them to keep making and selling. We’re salivating over here.
Backroads Market hopes this will be the beginning of a lucrative business for Rachel and Darin. Make sure to come by and show them some love on October 7 so we can convince them to come back to the spring show!
See you there!
